Tours

Visits to The Wall That Heals do not require that one register for a tour. Please plan to visit The Wall That Heals whenever it suits your schedule. All displays are open for your self-guided tour and you will have access to The Wall That Heals and the Mobile Education Center to peruse at your own pace.

For those wishing to bring a group and interested in having a more formal tour, guided group tours offer a unique educational experience at a level impossible even at the Memorial in Washington, D.C. Tours are led by a Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund staff member trained to engage visitors and students of all ages. Each group will be guided through the Mobile Education Center and to That Wall That Heals.

The Mobile Education Center features:

  • Items left at The Wall
  • Hometown Heroes and In Memory Honor Roll
  • Map of Vietnam
  • Timeline of the War and The Wall
  • The Gold Star Bike – Donated to VVMF by the American Gold Star Mothers in 2012, the bike is a Softail Custom Harley that pays tribute to the mothers who lost sons to the Vietnam War.

Tours are open to all including Veteran Groups, Corporate Groups, School Groups, Sponsors and all other organizations.
